Tender description

The Marine Institute, a semi State body, wishes to invite tenders for the supply of one automated magnetic nucleic acid extraction instrument with a 3 year annual preventative maintenance service contract. The instrument should also be supplied with reagents and consumables allowing for extraction of at least 250 samples This system will be used as part of standardised real-time PCR procedures for the detection of human pathogenic viruses in bivalve shellfish in the Marine Institute’s headquarters in Rinville, Oranmore, Co. Galway. This is an Open Invitation to Tender with any manufacturers and/or resellers invited to respond.
