Tender description

Permanent gallery build and graphic fit out The National Museums Scotland (the Client) wishes to engage a contractor for the fit-out for the gallery, Adventure Planet. National Museums Scotland wish to appoint a Principal Contractor to carry out gallery fit-out. The works comprise of the provision of a gallery fit-out including production drawings and information, setting out, wall preparation and gallery painting, wall vinyls, flooring and electrical work, wall painting and preparation, repurposing set work/interactive structures, Mechanical interactives, AV housings, AV screens, integration of interactive structures with display cases, graphics and electrical and AV installation as detailed in the scope of works and shown on the drawings. The tender is for all works unless otherwise noted on the drawings or in the scope of works. The Contractor shall include in their tender for completing the works as specified and as shown on the drawings and any ancillary or complementary work not shown therein but which may be reasonable inferred from the information available. The Contractor will be completely responsible for the operational methods, techniques, sequences, procedures and safety precautions in connection with the works. The contract will start on: 27 September 2021 for 19 weeks.
