Summary of the work The OEHE team will deliver interoperability for E7 Wedgetail aircraft in the fixed/deployed space. A Project Mgr is required to deliver JCHAT interoperability as a service provision to existing Defence Digital systems, deliver integration of chat applications/capabilities across multiple Defence infrastructure hosting environments at multiple security domains at fixed/deployed sites. Option for 12 Months extension (Subject to financial approval) Latest start date Thursday 14 October 2021 Maximum Day Rate £740.00 ex vat Who Speclialist Work With Civilian, Military and contractors within the MOD and wider Defence industry. What Specialists Work On Management and delivery of project plans to ensure all necessary preparation and execution tasks and dependencies are included. Work with key stakeholders to manage deployment of chat applications on hosting infrastructures. Identify and mitigate potential risks for delivery of chat capabilities. Operate as a full member of the team; supporting Programme Director and team members as directed. Project manage all aspects of specific work packages relating to CHAT. Work with stakeholders to ensure design, delivery, technical build; testing, requirements are managed and delivered. Working with Design team to secure stakeholder sign-off at all stages. Develop stakeholder communication and management plans. Skills & Experience • Give an example of your experience, as a Technical Project Manager including the management and delivery of project plans in a similar organisation within the last 5 years.15% • Demonstrate experience of working with C4ISR or related applications within the last 5 years 15% • Explain your experience of dealing with remote groups of stakeholders and how you managed expectations and communications between disparate groups 10% • Provide an example of your ability to analyse and comment on technical design documentation 10% • Give an example of how you have worked with stakeholders to ensure design, delivery, technical build; testing, requirements are managed and delivered. 10% • Provide an example of your knowledge and experience of the MOD risk management and scheduling process 10%. • Confirmation of application knowledge using project management tools and applications such as EPM, ARM, ADAM 10% • Provide a recent example of your organisational ability with regards to managing a project. 5% Nice to Haves • Give an example of experience working with chat applications 5% • Provide an example of your experience working within a Defence related environment 5% • Demonstrate your experience liaising with industry partners 5% Work Location DD ASDT are based at Mustang Building and Building 405 on Westwells Road, MOD Corsham, Wiltshire, SN13 9NR. Additional travel to various MOD premises and Industry partner locations in the UK may be required. £2000.00 ex vat, Travel and subsistence Level of Liability. Working Arrangments The successful candidate will need to work between 4 and 5 days per week. The working day is 8 hours to include 30 minutes for break. Some work may be conducted at other MOD and industry partner sites in the UK. Opportunities for home working are available. This individual will report to the C4ISR Programme Manager in ASDT. Security Clearance Valid DV clearance must be in place for the duration of the contract. Would you accept an SC cleared candidate? The Authority’s expectation is that the winning bidder will hold sufficient DV clearance for its candidate at Contract award to deliver the required outcomes. Should suppliers not be able to meet this requirement, it should identify any DV clearances which it requires to be in place to meet the contract requirements for the Authority’s review as part of its response to this requirement. 2.
