A VEAT notice was published for this service in 2018. 2018/S 199-453014. This notice is to award further 12 month extension to the contract to the current provider Solent Mind for the provision Mental Health Recovery Teams as the full transformation of the Services delivered has been delayed by Covid and the additional need for mental health services. Lot 1: Extension of twelve months to a direct award of a three year contract for the provision of Mental Health Recovery Teams to the current provider Solent Mind. The service is had been undergoing a period of transformation delayed by Covid and the increase in mental health needs in Portsmouth. The incumbent provider provides specific support and recovery services. It provides person-centred, flexible and responsive support to mental health service users of Solent NHS Trust Recovery Teams in Portsmouth, to aid them in their recovery, complementing the role of clinical and social care professionals. In addition the current provider works closely with other non-statutory services and community resources to develop and promote service users' independence, peer-led opportunities and individual recovery.
