Commercial Waste Collection Service

Tender description

Cardiff and Vale University Health Board has contracted a commercial non-hazardous waste collection service for the provision of ‘Waste Non-Hazardous Domestic: Collection and Disposal Service for Cardiff & Vale UHB’. The service is provided by City of Cardiff Council’s Commercial Waste Service (now Trade Waste Service). Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (CAV) has a requirement for a commercial non-hazardous waste collection and disposal service for 94 sites across the Cardiff area. The current contract expires on the 30th September 2021. This VEAT is being issued to enable CAV to align with the all Wales tender process that will be undertaken by the Utilities and Transport team in NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership. The contract will be awarded to City of Cardiff Council’s Trade Waste Service for 11 months. The contract will expire on the 31st August 2022.
