CHI invites tenders via an open competitive tender process for the provision of a state-of-the-art neurosurgical electromagnetic (EM) navigation system, which must be supplied with all accessories and software functionality necessary to perform a complete range of Neuro surgical procedures. Only systems with electromagnetic (EM) navigation need apply. Functionality necessary to perform a complete range of Neuro surgical procedures, including but not limited to the following: • insertion of shunt/EVD catheters • navigation for tumour surgery • transphenoidal pituitary surgery; • neurosurgery for other cranial conditions (cysts, infections, endoscopic surgery) In order to demonstrate compliance with this requirement, tenderers must outline the make and model of the system proposed and must provide a full list of all accessories that will be supplied as standard in order to conduct the range of neurosurgical procedures. The tendered system must offer a range of patient tracking options, including both stick-on and skull fixed trackers. Tenderers must confirm that this is the case and must provide comprehensive information regarding the patient tracking options provided as standard with the system procedures listed.
