Within the VCFS strategy we stated our vision of ‘an independent, sustainable and diverse voluntary and community sector, working with the community, Council and partners to meet the needs of local people’. We are delivering this within three main priorities: • To prevent, reduce and delay the need for formal care and support • To work in partnership and build the capacity of the VCFS, and • To commission services that deliver quality and value for money, in line with our strategic priorities.
