Tender description

The England Coast Path (ECP) is a new national trail following the length of the English Coastline. In Hampshire, Hampshire County Council (HCC) will be implementing the establishment of this route. This project initially asked for quotes for works to commence in Summer 2021. These quotes were used in the grant for funding from the EU. The works taking place were also dependent on successful approval of the grant funding from the RDPE. This contract will cover the path works required on this stretch, there are likely to be other contracts covering installation of signage and path works on other stretches as and when these stretches have been approved by the Secretary of State.
