Engineering consultancy services for the upgrade of Mountmellick Fire Station

Tender description

Procurement of the services of an engineering consultant to design & supervise this upgrade. The engineering consultant shall lead the design team & shall also engage the services of a quantity surveyor and any other technical experts as deemed necessary. The scope of this consulting works is as follows:- • Site survey including survey of underground services • Preparation & submission of the Part VIII application in accordance with the Planning & Development Act 2000 (as amended) • Act as PSDP • Design of concrete base for drill tower, in conjunction with the supplier of the drill tower • Preparation of all contract documents • Design & specify fire hydrant & water main connection • Design & specify the concrete drill yard • Evaluations of quotations/tenders submitted and prepare tender report. • Recommend contractor • Supervise the construction project to include allowance for the attendance at 6 no. site meetings/visits • Sign off on completed works.
