Tender description

The tender is for 3 phases of window and door replacements to be carried out over a 3 year period as per the project programme in Volume A. The proposed works consist of the removal and installation of 538No. new uPVC white windows and the removal and installation of 201No. doors at the proposed Newtown Court site at Belcamp Lane Dublin 17. The site consists of 6No. Apartment blocks (Blocks B, C, D, E, F & G) and all units are fully occupied. The works will take place on a phased basis. Access will be provided to the contractor by the client prior to contract commencement. The works will involve the following: Allow for clearance of vegetation and other necessary enabling works. Removal of 538 No. windows. Refer to Window & Door Schedule and window & Door Schedule Layout (11254-1000) provided for all window types. Removal of 201 No. doors. Refer to Window & Door Schedule and Window & Door Schedule Layout (11254-1000) provided for all window and door types. Disposal of all project associated material from site. Installation of 538 No. windows (White uPVC). Refer to Window & Door Schedule and Window & Door Schedule Layout (11254-1000) provided for all window types. All opes to be measured on site prior to fabrication. Installation of 186 No. Doors (White uPVC). Refer to Window & Door Schedule and Window & Door Schedule Layout (11254-1000) provided for all window and door types. All opes to be measured on site prior to fabrication. Installation of 15 No. Communal Entrance Doors (White). Steel powder coated doors only (No Aluminium Doors). Door spec to be empress glas-dor or outa-dor.
