The Moray Council is looking to engage a network of farmers and contractors with suitable equipment who can respond within 2 hours of contact to assist with the snow clearing of rural roads within Moray. The Moray Council is looking to engage a network of farmers and contractors with suitable equipment who can respond within two hours to assist with the snow clearing of rural roads within Moray. The Council will determine the hourly rate for the equipment based on the horsepower of the tractors to be used. The Council would like to invite any parties interested in supplementing and expanding this network for 2021/2022, 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 to get in touch. Please be aware that there is no guarantee of work, as any clearing required would be requested on an as and when required basis and entirely weather dependent. If you are interested in joining this network of contractors please initially contact Moray Council, giving your location, the area in which you could assist, the type of plant you have available and what assistance you could provide. To express an initial interest or to request further information, please respond to this PIN notice via the question & answer service on this portal. In order to allow the Council to establish an accurate idea of available coverage for winter 2021/22/23/24, if you do wish to express then we would be most grateful if you could do so by Monday 22nd November 2021 via an email to procurement@moray.gov.uk. Please note that not responding by this date will not exclude you from being able to express an interest, and or join the network. You may also do so at any point after this date, however it would allow us to more accurately project available coverage if you if you could respond by the date requested. Following any expression of interest you will be contacted by the Council to discuss arranging a formal agreement between yourself and the Council.
