Tender description

Principal Contractor for a new-build food standard building at Goat Island, Stornoway Principal Contractor for a new-build food standard building of 915 square metres gross internal area. The building comprises a processing hall complete with a cold store and two chilled stores and an ancillary wing providing office and welfare accommodation. The contract will include refrigeration for the cold store and chilled stores. The work will include demolition of an existing factory in two stages and working in close proximity to occupied premises. The appointed contractor will also be Principal Contractor for the installation of a packaged ammonia refrigeration plant; the contractor for the ammonia plant will be appointed separately.
