<p>Durham County Council are looking for a residential service within County Durham or neighbouring areas. An existing supported living service may be considered also. Timescales do not allow for a new service development. P is a young man who has a diagnosis of Autism, Severe Learning Disability and can display challenging and aggressive behaviours, some of which are anxiety related aggression and violence towards others and excessive shredding of clothing. P has good verbal communication, however it is essential that staff have a good understanding of P's needs and how to effectively communicate with him. P has continuous 2:1 support. P's support staff should be trained in physical intervention which enables staff to physically intervene and redirect to a safe space.</p> Keywords: Residential, Learning Disability, Autism
