Overnight Respite for Children and Young People with a Disability

Hampshire County Council has awarded a procurement vehicle for the delivery of Overnight Respite in a residential setting for Children and Young People with a Disability. Any service that is provided under this arrangement will be part of a holistic support package for the child or young person that meets identified objectives as part of a Care Plan agreed by the child or young person, their family and social worker. The awarded procurement vehicle is for an initial 2 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years at the Council's discretion. The value of this procurement vehicle in £5,000,000 in total. The opportunity will remain 'open' for providers to join at any point during the duration. Lot 1: Hampshire County Council invited organisations who provide overnight respite operating in or around the area of Hampshire County Council to tender for the delivery of overnight respite services for children and young people with a disability. The awarded procurement vehicle is for an initial 2 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years at the Council's discretion. The Council procured this arrangement utilising the Light Touch Regime and its total value is £5,000,000. Throughout the duration of the procurement vehicle, new providers of overnight respite can apply to join at any time. Providers are required to be Ofsted Registered at 'Good' or above.
