Invitation to provide Education Non-Maintained Provision in Torfaen

The Local Education Authority has a responsibility to ensure that part time, high quality, education places are available to those parents who choose it for their children from the beginning of the term following their third birthday. Torfaen CBC designates term dates as starting 1 January- 31 March, 1 April – 31 August and 1 September -31 December. The council is seeking to procure funded education places, for three and four year olds in the non-maintained sector which achieve the following aims: The provision of a high quality funded part time early education place for three and four year olds. That all children attending a funded part time early education place have access to an appropriate curriculum, that provides opportunities for them to realise their full potential. To encourage an effective partnership between the home and setting, in respect the child’s education place, including those with additional needs. To ensure support for the transition into school between the setting and school.
