Glucose/Ketone EQA Vials

Tender description

The NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership, hosted by Velindre NHS Trust are acting on behalf of Weqas who operates as an independent organisation, hosted by Cardiff and Vale University Local Health Board. Weqas were seeking to establish a contract for Glucose/Ketone EQA Vials (previously known as Dropper Bottles). Weqas is one of the largest External Quality Assessment providers in the UK, with over 50 years of experience in delivering global Quality Assurance Programmes in Laboratory Medicine. Weqas operates at Unit 6, Parc Ty Glas, Cardiff. The majority of Weqas' EQA material is manufactured in-house, and the items sought below are necessary for the production of the Glucose & Ketone EQA material. These products are utilised in a semi automated dispensing system, therefore, there are specific requirements to enable them to be used with this system, as stated in each indivdual lot specification within the tender documents. Item 1 – LDPE Dropper Bottle Cylinder Round Natural Item 2 – Extended Control Dropper Tip LDPE Natural Item 3 – Dropper Tip Cap (any colour) Lot 1: This contract is for the provision of Glucose and Ketone EQA material supplied in dropper bottles.
