GLENMANUS ROAD AND PARKER AVENUE, PORTRUSH DESIGN AND BUILD

Tender description

The project involves the construction of new build social housing at two distinct locations within Portrush. 15 houses are proposed at Glenmanus Road for tenure within the social housing sector, comprised of 10 apartments in two 2-storey blocks, 2 pairs of semi-detached houses, and one detached bungalow. The 10 apartments are designated Cat 1 Elderly, 2 houses are general needs, and the remaining two houses and the bungalow are designed to Wheelchair standards. The site is ‘brownland’; previous social housing on the land having been demolished and the site re-landscaped. The proposed works includes provision of a new public roads. The second site is located at Parker Avenue, proposed single dwelling to wheelchair standards, 2-storey, with private lift access to the upper floor. The site is a ‘gap’ site within an established residential street.
