Tender description

The Loughrea Municipal District of Galway County Council is seeking quotations from Multi-Disciplinary Consultants for Consultancy Services (Technical) for 1 the provision of a Topographical Survey, 2 the provision of a hydrological Survey, 3 the detailed design of a raised road, 4 the preparation of a Natura Impact Statement for Stage 2 Appropriate Assessment, 5 the provision of services with regard to the procurement of a Works Contractor and contract supervision for the following proposed works. The local (160m) raising of the L-4214 road at Earlspark by c.500mm with an associated localized widening of c.600mm each side of the roadway preserving the existing “over the edge”, drainage arrangement and the hydrological connectivity of the Lough Rea SAC and SPA with its fringing wetlands and environs.
