Edginswell Train Station Project Management & Integration Services

Tender description

Torbay Council has been granted funding from the New Stations Fund, supported by the Department for Transport, to bring forward a new railway station on the edge of Torquay. The brand-new station, known as Edginswell, will be located on the Exeter to Paignton ‘Riviera Line’ between Newton Abbot and Torre stations. This direct award concerns project management, goods and services required in relation to the integration of the completed station into the railway network. Lot 1: To move forward with the project, Torbay Council are required to directly engage with First Greater Western Railway (GWR) through a cooperation agreement for initial pre-construction project management, with further project management being provided throughout the construction phase. GWR will also provide goods and services in relation to the integration of the completed station into the railway network.
