Contract for the Provision and Operation of a Composting Facility and Associated Services

Tender description

The requirements of the service under this Contract are: • The provision of a Composting Facility to receive and compost Green Waste. • Dependant on the location of the Composting Facility a suitable supporting Delivery Point/s should be considered from which the Contractor will transfer the delivered material to the appropriate processing Facility. • The transfer of the composted materials to suitable merchants or end users. • The provision of a complete record of all materials delivered, the interim merchants/outlets and the ultimate destination of each material. Lot 1: Gateshead Council The requirements of the service under this Contract are: • The provision of a Composting Facility to receive and compost Green Waste. • Dependant on the location of the Composting Facility a suitable supporting Delivery Point/s should be considered from which the Contractor will transfer the delivered material to the appropriate processing Facility. • The transfer of the composted materials to suitable merchants or end users. • The provision of a complete record of all materials delivered, the interim merchants/outlets and the ultimate destination of each material.
