Consultation for Outdoor Youth Facility

Kildare County Council in conjunction with a variety of stakeholders including local Councillors, Community & Parent & Youth Representatives and Organisations want to make Celbridge a youth friendly town and as part of this to deliver an an Outdoor Youth Facility(s) for young people between 11-19 years in Celbridge. We are seeking to procure the services of a consultant with the relevant qualifications, experience and skills to assist with the consultation particularly with young people in delivering actions to primarily to identify an outdoor youth facility or facilities. Secondary to this is the possible identification of softer actions to make Celbridge Youth Friendly. These actions may arise during the consultation on a Youth Facility or facilities and will be longer term actions The works required are 1. Literature review and analysis 2. Demographics and Facility Location review and analysis 3. Consultation with Young People 4. Final Report and Recommendations on the type of facility(s) and location(s) and other softer initiatives that could be undertaken to make Celbridge Youth Friendly - eg opening access to other facilities and changing attitudes. 5. Additional Works – The following additional works relating to consultation maybe required: a. Consultation with communities b. Statutory and community stakeholders c. Consultation with local businesses
