Adult Weight Management Digital Support Service

<p>In order to support additional adults to lose weight, KCC plans to enhance the menu of interventions and launch a new virtual digital/web-based offer to provide Tier 2 Weight management support, 1-1 to around 500 clients. The new local virtual service will need to compliment the national NHS Digital Weight Management Innovation programme, and be an additional offer for Kent residents as opposed to offering the same products already freely available. The virtual weight management service must provide 1-1 support to residents, in addition to providing other support tools or content that can be accessed by the service user via an app, social media page and/or website in between appointments. The minimum duration of support should be 12 weeks, with weekly contact from an appropriately trained facilitator.</p> Keywords: Healthy Weight, Public Health, Digital
