SmartPly Europe DAC are seeking expressions of interests for the Engineering Design, Supply, Installation of a Bark Conveying System

Tender description

Smartply Europe DAC are seeking expressions of interest from suitable qualified engineering companies under the competitive dialogue process for design, supply and installation of the new bark conveying systems and structures. It will also include as required by the design the modification of existing conveyors, structures and chutes. In addition, it will be the responsibility of the mechanical contractor to carry out building penetrations and all electrical wiring and control systems as part of their remit. The contractor will be responsible for the provision and maintenance of a detailed program of works (in MS Program format) for the complete project. This will require liaising with Smartply Operations Personnel, Main Equipment Suppliers and other subcontractors. The program of works will need to take account of the dates of the Smartply Renewal Phase 2 Project Works. The removal of the existing conveyors and the installation of the new conveyors will need to be carried out during a 3 Week Shutdown during March 2022. Other details, schematics and plans will be shared to those who are selected to the tender stage of this process.
