***PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A CONTRACT AWARD NOTICE, NOT A CALL FOR COMPETITION*** This Requirement was awarded following a Mini Competition Exercise under CCS RM3824 Heat Networks and Electricity Generation Assets DPS. UK Shared Business Services Ltd (UK SBS) acting on behalf of the Contracting Authority: The Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) have awarded a Contract for 'The Analysis of Responses to the Call for Evidence for Biomass Strategy'. The Purpose to the Call for Evidence is to strengthen the Government's evidence base around Biomass and its role in supporting the delivery of 'Net Zero'. It aims to gather evidence on the availability of sustainable Biomass from domestic and international sources and the risks, opportunities, co-benefits and trade-offs associated with the different feedstock types, how Biomass should be used to support the Net Zero target, opportunities for innovation, on the sustainability of the Supply Chain and on the accounting of GHG emissions from Biomass use; including in Bioenergy with Carbon Capture and Storage.
