PROVISION OF SERVICES TO SUPPORT VICTIMS AND SURVIVORS OF DOMESTIC ABUSE

Tender description

This tender is for commissioning of specialist services for the victims and survivors of Domestic Abuse. The provider will ensure that the services are delivered in a non-discriminatory manner whereby it supports victim survivors of all ages, genders, ethnicities, sexualities religions, education levels, socio-economic statuses, and backgrounds. For the purposes of this Service Specification, providers are required to have read and adapted their practice in line with the Domestic Abuse Act 2021. Lot 1: The Crime and Disorder Act 1998 places a statutory requirement on local authorities to monitor the level of domestic abuse in their communities and establish partnerships in order to work together with other agencies to highlight the issues and co-ordinate a response. The London Borough of Bromley has a long history of committing to tackling domestic abuse. Domestic abuse is identified within the Safer Bromley Partnership (SBP) Strategic Crime Assessment Report 2021 and the London Borough of Bromley’s Intergenerational Domestic Abuse Strategy ‘Making Domestic Abuse Everyone’s Business’ 2021-24 as a key priority for the borough.
