The London Borough of Brent (the Authority) intends to put in place the provision of its integrated Street Cleansing, Waste Collections and Winter Maintenance contract. Lot 1: Outline of Services: • Waste and Recycling Collections • Street Cleansing • Winter Maintenance • Other Services o Emergency Call-Out o Out of Hours Response o Container Management o Customer Care and Satisfaction o Service Requests and Complaints Management Contract Term: Maximum of 16 years, with an initial term of eight years and the option for mutually agreeable extensions of up to eight additional years. Key Procurement Timetable Indicative Dates: • Publication of Contract Notice and issue of SQ: 2nd November 2021 • Contract Award: September 2022 Procurement Procedure: Competitive Dialogue with two stages; Invitation to Submit Detailed Solution (ISDS) and Invitation to Submit Final Tender (ISFT).
