Tender description

To deliver Hull’s Poverty Truth Commission. Two or more suppliers working together in partnership will bring significant benefits in terms of quality of the Commission for beneficiaries. As well as the benefits derived from collaborative activities, smaller organisations who are familiar with the issues and challenges of poverty in their neighbourhoods will be well-positioned to add value as a partner. The Service will: • Build relationships and connections between communities and organisations in Hull, • Facilitate conversations with communities to inform the development of a set of tangible local outcomes from the Hull Poverty Truth Commission, • Increase awareness of the Poverty Truth Commission, • Increase understanding on how to engage with the Poverty Truth Commission to ensure representation and ownership across the system, • Recruit 15 grassroot and 15 civic commissioners, • Capture the emerging nature of outcomes as they emerge from the particularities of the group of commissioners that are recruited, • Produce a final report to be prepared at the end of the contract.
