Paper Mapping Product for Ordnance Survey Ireland – Compás Map – The OSI Site Centred and Customised Printed Map.

As part of our services, OSI produce and sell paper mapping products. OSI wishes to expand this offering to include an online site-centred offering and outsource the printing of these products. OSI invites tenderers for the provision of services relating to the provision of an online site centred on demand paper mapping product we call a ‘Compás Map’. The required activities include receipt of files, print and fold map and print cover, attach cover to map, insert in package and post to customer. Under the proposed contract, OSI will supply the successful tenderer with PDF files or agreed equivalent for each product. OSi will remain fully responsible for the marketing and promoting of the products. Copyright of the products will remain with OSi and the Government of Ireland. OSI proposes to award a contract for a one year period, extendable, at OSI’s discretion and subject to satisfactory performance, with an option to extend for one extension of one year, bringing the overall duration to 2 (two) years, subject to strategic alignment, budgetary allocation and satisfactory performance. OSi has a requirement for the printing of products as detailed in Appendix 1 of the RFT, for a new product that has been developed by the organisation, a Personalised Compás Map with Card Cover.
