GB-London: Enhancing green opportunities for SMEs in North Somerset

Tender description

The LGA is procuring an adviser to support North Somerset Council to understand the level of carbon emissions produced by SMEs and to look at opportunities for green and sustainable growth in those sectors. This work is being commissioned as part of the LGA's Economic Growth Advisers programme which provides councils with additional capacity and support across a range of economic issues. The council is seeking support from an adviser to identify the priority sectors that are the most vulnerable to the impact of climate change. The adviser will also support the council to develop an action plan to engage with SMEs and understand how the council can enable the reduction of emissions within different sectors, adopt a net zero pledge and invest in future skills to support business growth.
