<p>Background This specification relates to specialist printing supplies for the Electoral Services Team. The contract will include the printing for the annual canvass and any elections printing including postal vote pack, poll card and ballot paper printing. There are 2 Parliamentary constituencies in York: York Central has 69,281 electors; and York Outer has 66,470 electors. There are around 15,000 Postal Voters. There are around 139,712 people on the electoral register in total. General The Supplier shall: &bull; Be responsible for any errors or omissions in goods supplied and rectify any such errors or omissions within a reasonable time and at the suppliers own cost. &bull; For each election, notify City of York Council of any proposed or planned purchases where the shelf life of the product is less than 6 months so that in the event of an abandoned or postponed poll, the cost to City of York Council is kept to an absolute minimum and City of York Council must agree to the proposed purchase prior to any costs being incurred.</p> Keywords: Printing, Election
