East Renfrewshire Peer Navigators Test of Change

The East Renfrewshire Alcohol and Drugs Partnership is seeking to work with an external service provider to deliver a test of change (funded by the Drugs Death Task Force – DDTF) exploring the role of peer navigators in supporting individuals with harmful drug use into stable engagement with drugs services, as well as other wellbeing services and supports. The test of change is around the unique difference that can be made by peer navigators with lived experience of harmful drug use providing this model of assertive outreach and support. The external provider is required to: -deliver a peer navigator service in East Renfrewshire comprising two peer navigators with lived experience over a minimum of twelve months -manage a small budget for personalised short term / small scale financial support to individuals -work together with ADP partners to design, deliver and evaluate the service to develop a strong business case for the effectiveness of a peer navigator approach -report on outcomes of the service for individuals
