Tender description

Commissioners for the Community Drug and Alcohol Service in the Prevention, Wellbeing and Communities Hub at Gloucestershire County Council are re-commencing a strategic review that was paused at the start of COVID-19. This review will look into how drugs and alcohol impact the county and try to identify good practice and what’s working well; as well as concerns, issues and any gaps. The Review will comprise two distinct components: 1. a quantitative overview and analysis of the drug and alcohol situation in the county; and, 2. a qualitative exercise and analysis of the local impact of drug and alcohol use and key issues within the county. This will be informed by listening to key stakeholders, specifically: other front line and tier 1/anchor organisations and experts by experience /service users /carers. This contract is for independent consultancy to provide the qualitative aspects of the review and produce a summary report.
