Contract for the provision of Court Representation Services for Council tenants facing action for rent arrears. For further information please see the Court Representation Service Summary document. Lot 1: The scope of the service includes: - To provide a court advice and representation service for Council tenants facing action for rent arrears. - To provide people who have rent arrears at the stage of Court Proceedings and Notice of Proceedings, with advice and information to ensure they are not evicted. Priority will be given to those with court proceedings. - The Service Provider will assist Service Users to understand/follow court processes and procedures and decisions, allow opportunities to resolve any benefit issues and to give time to start making payments.
