Torbay Council is procuring a place shaping, place marketing and place branding service from thinking place ltd on behalf of the Torbay Strategic Partnership (known as Torbay Together). The strategic partnership made a decision in November 2020 to refresh its vision and due to the need to move at pace on this the strategic partnership further decided in December 2020 to engage an external place vision building specialist which would undertake the following: • refresh the place vision/story from existing sources of community engagement and from the aspirations of key decision makers • validate the place vision/story with the community and external decision-makers • communicate the place story/vision internally and externally to key stakeholders and the wider community. Stage 2 Visual Development work set out in Schedule 5 to commence on 1/07/2021: Revised set of activities: Leadership groups in Torquay, Paignton and Brixham ; Establish leadership group for Torbay; launch events; Torbay Ambassador Programme; creation of place based imagery; visual language and identify: Torbay Toolkit: creation of visual identities and toolkits for the three towns.
