Supply of Lights and Fittings for Irish Lights Office Lighting Upgrade

Irish Lights are currently mid way through an energy efficiency project to replace our existing lights within our head office to more energy efficient and environmentally friendly solutions. Irish Lights intends to replace the fluorescent fittings in their Administration Building in Dun Laoghaire with modern energy efficient light fittings. This may mean replacing the complete fittings or retrofitting the existing ones with energy efficient light sources. The Administration Building comprising 3 floors has a total of 219 twin fluorescent fittings and 98 single fittings. The pictures within the specification show a customized unit suspended by threaded bar from the ceiling coffer fitted with 2 off twin fluorescent fittings. Irish Lights intends retaining these customized units so the solution must fit into this unit akin to the existing fittings. This is typical of the majority of fittings in the building. All fittings are 5ft. and the tubes are T5 each rated at 49W
