Tender description

This contract is to enable us to stage two significant exhibitions at Bristol Museum & Arts Gallery from October 2021 to February 2022. a) Mimesis: African Soldier, a 3-channel video installation by John Akomfrah; b) Turning Point, a 1-channel video installation with 5-point surround sound by Sweet Patootee Arts. They are both about British colonies' largely unsung roles in the First World War, focusing on Africa and the Caribbean. They require very high-spec AV equipment, and specialist installation by a team who have a lot of experience of working with video art installations of this nature.
