<p>Trafford Council and STAR Partner Authorities (Rochdale,Stockport and Tameside) are Looking to procure Mediation and Disagreement Resolution Services. The aim of the service is to provide a disagreement resolution and mediation service to enable the Councils to fulfil their statutory duties under the Children and Families Act 2014 and meet the requirements of associated guidance. The Service, which needs to be independent of the local authority, will provide information, advice, disagreement resolution and access to suitably trained and qualified mediators. The Service will provide a forum to resolve, where possible, differences of opinion which arise between parents or young people, education providers, the local authority and health on matters relating to SEND and social care and health provision.</p> Keywords: Mediation, Children, Resolution, Young People, Disagreement, SEND
