Tender description

To provide database support and monitoring services including the support of Oracle/SQL environments (proSECURE, Application Management and Linux VM Management, ProSECURE24 support services) This contract relates to managed database services for the Group including support of Oracle/SQL environments. Aspects of this service include: -Full manual daily health checks -Rapid response and resolution services for all database issues. -Proactive monitoring, with rapid response to exceptions raised. - Preventative maintenance, management and housekeeping. - provision of service desk software access for incident management, historic ticket storage and maintenance of a knowledge base. - Provision of a dedicated service delivery manager, and direct contact methods for named, very skilled and highly qualified Oracle/SQL consultants. - Oracle/SQL bug resolution - Database change management - Database backup process implementation, management and maintenance. - Database restore testing on request, plus emergency database restores. - Test database refreshes as required and on request - Test database refresh issue resolution. - Performance bottleneck investigation - Performance and stability optimisation advice - Strategic planning assistance - Consultation and advisory service for Oracle/SQL and related products. - Liaison with third parties appointed either directly or indirectly by the client. - Oracle/SQL upgrade and patching service. - Out-of-hours scheduled maintenance - Management reporting
