Independent debt advice service

Tender description

A two year contract for the provision of an independent debt advice service for Phoenix residents. A responsive appointment service is anticipated and will be expected to assist residents with resolution of debt matters in connection with (but not limited to): priority debts including council tax, non-priority debts, benefit challenges, benefit claims, possession claims and family/ housing/ legal matters. Scope of service to include: - Face to face, digital and telephone services delivered directly to residents - Carry out initial assessments - Build relationships - Case management - Provide advice and guidance on all debts - Give advice on budgeting - Advice on claiming correct benefits / entitlements - Family/housing/legal - Appeals - Resident workshops/training
