Tender description

B&D Energy is seeking to procure a suitably qualified company to carry out the installation of a new Strategic Heat Network (SHN) in Barking Town Centre (BTC). This is a new District Heating (DH) network that shall serve a mixture of new and existing customers throughout the BTC area. Lot 1 (SHN) shall cover the design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning and setting to work of the following key parts of the system: • buried DH pipework, • customer heat substations, • modifications to existing building heating systems, • communications network and heat substation control systems. This tender will be conducted using the competitive procedure with negotiation (CPN) in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
