Girdwood Leisure Complex Phase 2 Project is part of Belfast City Council’s GBP 105 million leisure transformation programme for the city of Belfast which will be delivered at no additional cost to the ratepayer. This is a unique opportunity to improve the health and wellbeing of the city, by delivering a quality service that meets the needs of its communities. The economic operator shall provide a project manager led Integrated Consultant Team (ICT) with the following capabilities: Design team (project manager, architect, principal designer, building services engineers, civil engineer, structural engineer, landscape architect, BREEAM services, BIM services). This is a unique opportunity to improve the health and wellbeing of the city, by delivering a quality service that meets the needs of its communities. The economic operator shall provide a project manager led Integrated Consultant Team (ICT) with the following capabilities: Design team (project manager, architect, principal designer, building services engineers, civil engineer, structural engineer, landscape architect, BREEAM services, BIM services). The project manager responsible for managing the ensuing works contract, within the economic operator team, either has or will attain the NEC accredited project manager qualification before the contractor is appointed to deliver the associated works contract or the construction notice is issued (whichever is the later). The project manager will be required to hold this qualification throughout the entire duration of the works phase of the contract, regardless of whether the original project manager leaves the firm or is replaced during contract delivery.
