Tender description
Forestry and Land Scotland with to award a contract for the construction of approximately 650m of New Forestry Road; the local repairing of potholes (as necessary) and the ditching and flailing (as necessary) of approximately 1250m of Existing Forestry Road; and the grading and the ditching and flailing of approximately 950m of Existing Forestry Road to facilitate access to Couple Number 21034 for harvesting operations. New Forestry Road construction involves excavation of the road formation and drainage ditches, the placement of sub-base, metaling and surfacing, the construction of culverts and the development of turning points, passing places and service bays.
