<p>Liverpool City Council (LCC) is engaging early with potential service providers of Telecare and related services to inform the development of a new service later this year.</p> <p>We asked the market for information in 2019 following that market engagement exercise the planned procurement exercise was delayed due to the Covid pandemic. We are now looking to gain an updated view of the market against the backdrop of significant flux the switch to analogue telephone lines is causing the Tech Enabled Care markets. We recognise there are now new business models including lease arrangements as well as the opportunity to provide part or all of a modern Tech Enabled Care service in house. The purpose of this market engagement exercise is to:</p> <p>&bull; gauge interest in this opportunity- we have looked at the key findings of the 2019 feedback and identified the key elements we want in our new service (see Q3)</p> <p>&bull; help determine our procurement strategy and approach</p> <p>&bull; identify innovative ideas that can improve our local provision</p> <p>&bull; identify options to make the service more sustainable &ndash; both financially and technically &bull; inform the development of our service specification</p> <p>&bull; Establish indicative market costs</p> Keywords: Health, Technology, Telecare
