T ENV21-101 Strabane Canal Regeneration Programme, Public Realm Project, Concept Place-Making Masterplan - Consultants PQQ and ITT

Tender description

The Strabane Town Centre Regeneration Programme comprises a series of key strategic capital projects forming part of the Derry-Londonderry and Strabane Region City Deal, led by Derry City and Strabane District Council. The Strabane Town Centre Regeneration Programme will revitalise Strabane Town Centre by creating new infrastructure, centred around the historic Canal Basin. This strategic place making programme comprises a number of capital projects. The scope of service for this commission requires the completion of a Concept Place-making Masterplan and Planning Strategy to assist with the development of the overarching Strabane Town Centre Regeneration Programme Stage 1 Outline Business Case (OBC1), as well as the individual Stage 1 OBC for the public realm/place-making project. This will include the completion of an RIBA Stage 2 Concept Design for the canal basin public realm area. The key tasks for this commission are as outlined in the Instruction to Tenderers – Scope of Service document which is appended. The service will focus on the provision of an Urban Designer led Integrated Consultant Team (ICT). Please refer to CfT Documents for further detail
