System Compatible, Cloud Based Visitor Management System

Tender description

Single site location cloud based Visitor Management System (VMS) with full interface capability with Salto based Access Management System (installed across campuses) and IP compatibility with Alana based robotic speech and command programming. The provider is required to enter into a research development partnership with the University to develop Alana speech protocol for VMS. Under Regulation Reg 6(1)(b)(ii) of the Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2016, a contracting authority may award a contract without competition based on the following justification: Competition is absent for technical reasons (only if it is not caused by artificial narrowing down of the parameters of the procurement and no reasonable alternative or substitute exists) Explanation: This is a specialist piece of software and after extensive market research only one supplier is able to meet the specific requirements of this contract. This notice is issued with a 10 day standstill period commencing 28 September 2021, closing on Friday 08 October 2021.
