West Mercia Police is responsible for policing the counties of Herefordshire, Shropshire (including Telford and Wrekin) and Worcestershire in England. The force is the fourth largest police area in England and Wales, serving a resident population of approximately 1.2 million. West Mercia is currently reviewing the following 3 options: 1) Review back-office systems on an individual basis as listed below: • Lot 1 – Fleet Management System • Lot 2 – Duties Management System (DMS) • Lot 3 – HR Management System • Lot 4 – Payroll Management System • Lot 5 – Finance Management System • Lot 6 – Occupational Health System (OHS) • Lot 7 – Training and Administration System (TAS) • Lot 8 – Recruitment / Application Management System (RAMS) 2) Lot 9 – West Mercia is also considering purchase of an HR-related ERP (combining HR-related systems: HR Management, Occupational Health, Training & Administration, Recruitment / Application Management, and Health & Safety). 3) Lot 10 – West Mercia is also considering purchase of a full ERP combining all of the systems listed above. West Mercia is especially interested in ‘off-the-shelf’ products as much as possible, while ensuring that specific Policing requirements are met. Potential suppliers are invited to complete the Lot or Lots below relevant to them. This will enable decision-making and business case development, potentially leading to future tender exercises.
