SSE are a leading generator of renewable electricity in the UK and Ireland and one of the largest electricity network companies in the UK. We employ 12,000 talented and skilled people across the UK and Ireland to develop, own and operate low carbon infrastructure to support the zero-carbon transition. This includes onshore and offshore wind, hydro power, electricity transmission and distribution grids, efficient gas and energy from waste, alongside providing energy products and services for businesses. It is therefore of vital importance that our business is underpinned by communication services that are reliable, sustainable and which encompass experts, processes and infrastructure which can resolve service affecting issues ensuring BAU activities are not impacted. The scope of this tender shall be to provide suitable Voice, SMS, Data, M2M and IoT connectivity around the United Kingdom and Ireland, utilising established mobile network infrastructure. Lot 1: Voice, Data, SMS and Fixed Voice Links The authority seeks a provider proposal for the provisions of Voice, Data, SMS connectivity with appropriate Fixed Voice Links. Lot 2: Machine to Manchine and Fixed Data Links The Authority requires services and infrastructure to facilitate M2M connectivity. Lot 3: IoT Services The Authority seeks Mobile infrastructure and Services to support its current and future IoT connectivity needs.
