CPCA - Business Board Evaluation

Tender description

To undertake an evaluation and performance assessment of the LEP Business Board on behalf of the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority. The board review will be conducted under the instruction of the Chair. The review will examine the governance and procedures of the Business Board including its published Local Assurance Framework. It will consider the Business Board’s relationship with the Combined Authority Board, other areas of the Combined Authority and its partners. The board review report will evaluate the board’s effectiveness based on guidance for Board Effectiveness produced by the Financial Reporting Council which covers important elements like balanced content of board meetings; board dynamics and the nature of debate; strategic leadership; internal controls; risk management and stakeholder management. This will help establish appropriate best practice benchmarks for the Business Board
