FM21199 - Combustibility Testing of Smoke Dampers

Brief Description of Requirement To test a selection of smoke dampers to verify their classification as defined by BS EN 12101-1:2005+A1:2006 and BS EN 13501-4:2016. The test methods applied should follow those set out in BS EN 12101-1:2005+A1:2006 as applicable to the samples and should be done following the relevant standards for each test, including any normative/informative reference standards: • BS EN 1363-1:2020 Fire resistance tests • BS EN 1363-2:1999 Fire resistance tests • BS EN 1634-3:2004 Fire resistance and smoke control tests Please ensure you review all attached information to ensure a full understanding of this requirement.
