Renewalof an annual subscription to the web platform PurpleTRAC, provided by Polestar.ThePurpleTRACplatform providesa vital form of governance to support the UKSRs positioning as the best performing international flag and the wider strategic aim of becoming the flag of choice for owners/managers seeking support to operate ethical and responsible vessels.It deliversreal time enhanced visibility ofvesseltrading and operating routesfor the whole UK fleet, together with details of current ownership structures includingbeneficial ownershipand information relating to any company sanctions imposed internationally.Thissupports the extensive marketing activity planned by UKSR.Greater understanding of the relationships between owners and countries of residence etc enablesUKSR to maximise the benefits of its offer to both new and existing customers.Performance against many of the recognised MOUs, including Tokyo, is also provided by the platform. A full screening report can be obtained within 30 seconds at any time for any international vessel with an official IMO number.The platform allows for one administrator log in with the necessary functionality to set risk parameters to reflect the requirements of the MCA.
